Tencent takes its WorkBuddy office AI agent global
WorkBuddy supports 50+ languages and works with Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and Tencent Hunyuan.
At its 2026 Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, Tencent announced that WorkBuddy, its office productivity agent, is going to global markets. It supports more than 50 languages and integrates several models, including Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude and Tencent’s own Hunyuan.
Tencent also launched the Hy4 model, CodeBuddy, an agent development platform and other international products, and announced an expansion of its global cloud infrastructure.
Why it matters: businesses in Southeast Asia get another multilingual workplace agent, with a choice of underlying models.
